Even tho Welkin was super cool to say Alicia was perfect the way she was, I wish we coulda played as Alicia in her Valkyria state. Now that woulda been awesome.

Actually the anime, though it has changed quite a bit of the story around, is running with the childhood relation between Selvaria and Alicia. Specifically, Selvaria sees a flashback of Alicia as a little girl during their fight in the anime. I'm sure more stuff will surface as the series continues.

But we'll never know the truth since Selvaria's gone and Valkyria Chronicles 2 will use different characters.

Well, we don't know who Alicia's parents are... they may be related (Selvaria and Alicia).
