Leah Zicari -- "Glory Glory," an Early GLBT Anthem -- Story & Music

Leah Zicari's "Glory Glory" was released (on cassette tape only) in 1990, and has been used as the opening theme song for several GLBT radio shows. Before the song starts I'm sharing with you an interview clip of Leah talking about the inspiration for that song. I thank her for permission to create this video slide show.

Background voices by the City of Good Neighbors Chorale, Buffalo, NY, and Descant Soprano was by Madeline Davis, a pioneer in her own right, who in addition to her activism wrote and recorded "Stonewall Nation," in 1971, the first gay liberation song.
