Grigory Ginzburg (not less!) said that to play this piece in proper tempo is practically imposiible... but Medtner did it!

One of the Best Noises! It's true that Medtner played on the fast side, but here it doesn't sound rushed as some of his later recordings do. At whatever speed he remains rythmically vital,colorful and brings out his lines & voices incredibly clearly. Thanx for this.
