  • Sorry...I created the spray basting wall because all the other ways I knew to baste took a long time and were a pain in the neck! I'd keep looking for other brands of basting spray if you can't find 505 in your country.

    Good luck,

    Patsy

  • Great videos. What are you using on your cutting table as a mat?

  • I use both Olfa cutting mats and Fiskars cutting mats. I've found that they both hold up well to years of cutting fabric and paper.

  • what do you for your basteing wall and is there a pattern to make it ,

    Thanks for the tutorials

  • Hi,

The basting wall is made of ceiling tiles that are attached to the wall using an all-purpose caulk. All these supplies can be found at your local home improvement store. There is no "pattern" to make the basting wall. There is a short tutorial about how we did it on the DVD called "Fast and Free Volume 0.5." Other than that, the only other place that we've put information out about creating the spray basting wall is in the free video tutorial about spray basting.

  • I never tried this method, but I did try the batting that you iron and stick...what a mess. I wondered if the spray would gum up your needle?

  • Your quilts are absolutely beautiful!

  • I wonder what I could use to attach the ceiling tiles instead of caulk.? To make them removable? Could the ceiling tile wall be used as a cork board ?

  • i cant find any basting spray in my country, do you have any sugestion except using pins?
