Robbie Williams wrote this about his hero Elvis, that is a fact. Watch the official video and learn. Also look up Robbie's interview talking about writing this song and how it is about Elvis. Robbie is a hugh Elvis fan. As for Marlon Brando - Elvis welcomed him at the gates of heaven.

@noramoya Oh it's about Elvis. Look up the official video clip of the song. There's no mistake who Robbie is really playing tribute to in this song.

@noramoya i saw you standing at the gates (of heaven) when marlon brando passed away, robbie williams released this song in 2005, 4 years before mj died, robbies song morning sun is the tribute to mj.

I don't think this music is about Elvis because talks about. " when Marlon Brandon pasad way"... Well , Brando pasad way very much later than Elvis , who died on 1977 . Brando worked with MJ on the video "you Rock My World " , which was recorded around 2000-early 2001 . I think this lúdica aré kind of confuse , although the music is nice . Can you tell me why you think it was written for Elvis , instead for MJ ? Thanks , Nora .

Michael WILL live forever, just like Elvis, John Lennon and James Dean. Because they will be remembered forever.
Immortalilty is what you leave behind.

Wow, well done. That's all I can say. I wish Robbie could just tweak the last 2 sentences about all the Watergate/Vietnam stuff and personalize it for MJ's life and it would be perfection. Too bad he couldn't have pulled "an Elton John" and re-fashioned it as a tribute like Elton did for Princess Diana in Candle in the Wind. Make it a charity single and he couldn't have gone wrong. Robbie is quite underrated, I am just going to throw that one out there, too. :)

@dm6testa777 And he will be like that forever!
This video is hard to watch. There are certain pictures very painful for me. I still can't see the one with the oxygen mask. And the song, ironically, says at this very moment "There is no dignity in death" *tears*
My heart is broken right now in a million pieces, but with every one of these pieces I'll keep loving you Michael. FOREVER

This is a perfect song to describe Michael. I know it was about Elvis and that Michael never wanted to end up in that fate but he so sadly did. Elvis and Michael had that in common.
Rest in peace my angel. You're always in my heart.
