Metallurgists research, control and develop processes used in extracting metals from their ores or for refining metals. Metallurgists work at mineral processing sites and may specialise in either primary (extractive) or secondary (physical) metallurgy. Primary metallurgists are most often employed by the minerals and energy industry.

  • @neutrillium Add the atomic weights of each element, and multiply each element by the number of moles it has. I dont really know about 3 metals... but if it was like Chalopyrite (Cu2FeS2) you add 2 copper moles + one mole of iron + 2 moles of sulphur. EG. Sulphur = 32.2 g per mole. 2 X 32.2 = 64.4 g of sulphur in chalcopyrite.

  • when you combine three metals together how do you add the atomic weight and the etectron configurations together to come up with one atomic weight and one electron configuration.I have a idea, ive never been to school for this and i have an idea very fustrating the math
