A Merry 'Pleo' Christmas ...

Well, I got a major surprise yesterday. My 1st Pleo (from Sharper Image) that was scheduled to arrive in Jan '08 suddenly arrived in my life on Dec 14th! Totally amazing! So I would like to present these first few videos of her to add to the ever-growing collection of new Pleo owner videos. You might notice my sweet dog 'Panda' was simply sleeping as I was capturing the video ... until the toy dog starts to sing ... I hope you enjoy my effort

There's only a slight whirring of the servo motors. I wouldn't call that noise. You can judge by this video how quiet it is. As for lame: I never saw a more sophisticated robot. This one just "hatched" I guess, so it doesn't do much but looking around wide-eyed. But they get really active and quite cute later.
