Pioneer Public TV Technical Difficulties - August 12th, 2010

From what I can gather, a severe storm moved through Appleton, MN, where Pioneer Public TV is based. The station loses the satellite feed of "PBS Newshour", then takes forever to pull up a simple Technical Difficulties slide.

Be aware that there are lengthy periods of silence and black screen in this video, and you may find that boring.

I used to love the one they had for Cartoon Network. It had some of the old cartoon characters as workers at a tv station. I wish I could find that one.

WLVT-TV in Bethlehem, PA back in the day used to show a slide with a dragon destroying the TV station. I don't remember if they played music during this time, but, as a litlle kid, it used to terrify me. I've looked for this here on youtube, and can't find it.
