FRONTAL OFFSET TEST

OVERALL EVALUATION: Good

Head/neck Chest Leg/foot, left Leg/foot, right
Good Good Good Good Good Good

Important: Frontal crash test ratings can be compared only among vehicles of similar weight.
Test details:

The Honda Accord was redesigned for the 2003 model year. The car received some rear-end styling changes in the 2006 model year.

Restraints/dummy kinematics — Dummy movement was well controlled. After the dummy moved forward into the airbag, it rebounded into the seat without its head coming close to any stiff structure that could cause injury.

Injury measures — Measures taken from the dummy indicate a low risk of any significant injuries in a crash of this severity.

  • The crappiest car I ever had was a 2005 Honda Accord---it didn't stand up to well to the crash "test" of someone skateboarding into the front fender--not only was the fender smashed in--the entire front end was knocked out of wack--had a body shop "fix" it twice--but the car was so full of defects--and it was bought NEW--I traded it in for a 2005 Chevy Malibu--never had a lick of problems with it!! It's now six years old and looks brand new!!

  • @AlexGrantChannel thts like 60 or 80 kmh bro

  • omg i have the same car and from here it dosnt look safe thats only 40 miles what if you were going 60 you would be dead oh god

  • this honda accord model is really ugly

  • @greenday987987

I believe that fact is already well-known, which is why I didn't bother to specify a mirror made of steel or aluminum and electroplated with chromium when I said "chrome mirror."

  • @Watcher3223 chrome is a color not a material

  • @IHeartArrowDynamics SERIOUSLY! I'm driving one as a rental this week, because my ford focus is in the shop.. I feel safer in the accord. and the crash tests of the focus prove it.

  • Is this good or bad?
