Minecraft - How to make a cactus and reed farm

This is an easy way to grow your reeds and cactus plants. The only difference between the two is that for cactus you need to put sand down the center and for the reeds you need to put mud/dirt down the center and you must wait for a while for them to grow. Also make sure the water is full to the top on both ends :)

to be more space effienct you should have had the middle row be water and have 2 side rows of plants (reed,cacti)

p.s. having water on BOTH sides doesn't make a difference. you don't even actually need the water to be touching at all
