Spaceship Excellent - Episode 10: Oklahoma City

After washing the tragic imagery images of fallen aliens from their minds, the spacemen continued their quest into Oklahoma City. In this advanced city of industry, they discovered their most promising lead yet... a scientific center of air and space technology. Boffo, Spacemen!

They put on their thinking caps and soaked up information like space sponges... cap-sules, fighter-jets, flight-simulators, space shuttles. After hours devouring data, our heros departed. At last, they felt close to a solution for the vessel to return them to their home planet. Now, if they only had a plan to fuel it!

The spacemen descended on the city and investigated fueling options: Traveling river boats, American pick-up trucks, animal-drawn city carriages... animal drawn city carriages? The horse buggy intrigued the Spacemen, and the captain boarded it to query the cowboy commanding the quadraped.

Still fascinated by the prospect of harnessing animals for power, the spacemen learned of a local watering hole called the "cross-eyed moose", where "steel horses" congregate in sizable packs to feed. The spacemen attempted to communicate with the droves of steel-horse riders through the language of music. Umph! Metal certainly can be heavy.

What kinds of capers will the Spacemen spin into next? Will they join 4-H and become champeen e-questrians? Will they wear capes and become capers? Will they fall prey to metal-mania and go totally evil? Will they discover a man with more impressive jumpsuits and be inspired to be-dazzle their ram-shackle spacesuits? ABOUT SPACESHIP EXCELLENT
The musical Spacemen are on a mission to explore the galaxy of the United States in search of the leader of the solar system. They travel in a spaceship bus, a mobile laboratory used for inspecting foreign towns and inhabitants. The viewpoints they collect become raw material for their live shows, where their experience becomes one with their audience. The mission will culminate in the nations capital on Election Day, when the new leader will be named.

This is a tour of cosmic proportions that is soon to become the worlds first ever Interactive Rockumentary. Each venue and person they meet on the way will set the stage for this cultural phenomenon, and they want you to be a part of it. ALL ABOARD.
