Jefferson was a slave owner.

"[s]ome men look at constitutions with sanctimonious reverence, and deem them like the ark of the Covenant, too sacred to be touched. They ascribe to the men of the preceding age a wisdom more than human, and suppose what they did to be beyond amendment. . . We might as well require a man to wear still the coat which fitted him when a boy as civilised society to remain forever under the regimen of their barbarous ancestors."
Thomas Jefferson (on reform of the Virginia Constitution)

@CDanielzSpecialist I can imagine Jefferson leaving for France, not because its better, only to get away.

Thomas Jefferson would be shocked to know that the United States still existed and people were still fighting over it. Then he'd retire to Monticello and not return phone calls.

@ozymandaious Thank you Jefferson would have never supported ron paul. The Paul supporters would label him as someone trying to subvert the constitution. I think its funny that they think they can claim they know Jefferson and the Constitution better than us

People with solutions, such as the founders, have always been few & far between.
Within this video, you said;
"I have warned you in the past of what would happen if you allowed the government to remove your rights or take control, as they have".
That which occurs when government "denies" people their rights, is something that everybody knows. Thus, of what value is your statement? The founders did indeed warn us. However, they warned us of what will enable the government to deny us our rights.

The fact that you perceive rights as something that can be "removed", is an indication of that you might have not yet understood the true nature of "rights", as understood by the founders. The "rights" of man are existent & cannot be made to not exist. However, man can be denied of his rights. This is precisely the reason why Jefferson wrote; "all men are CREATED equal and are endowed by their CREATOR" etc. Man's rights are innately inherent from his creation... endowed by his Creator. Thus, no

man possesses the right to deny any other man his/her rights... for man is not the Creator. Therefor, the warning from the founders, which they impressed upon the people on numerous occasions, was as follows; "if you let go of your Christianity, you will lose your prosperity, your liberty & your nation". The "Founders" could have been a book amongst the prophets. For in the wake of the tremendously deceptive farces of Bush & Evolution, indeed we see our prosperity, liberty & nation slipping away

"Our Constitution was created for a religious and moral people, it is wholly inadequate to the government of any others" - John Adams
I've often wondered how many Americans have recognized Ron Paul to be the modern day Thomas Jefferson. Even then, what may be the reasons for which they've recognized it. Most people who do recognize it, do from categorizing them both as "Libertarian". Jefferson was indeed a Christian, as is Paul. However, Jefferson's political thinking, as is Paul's, was

not at all consistent with the political thinking of mainstream Christianity. Ron Paul is a Christian but he speaks of legalizing drugs... not at all the political thinking of mainstream Christianity. In reading Jefferson's political thinking, it is for reasons such as that Ron Paul "drug" example that people think Jefferson wasn't a Christian. Due to his politics, 200 years from now, people may perceive the same of Paul. The Congressman does indeed arrive at his conclusions from a Christian
Fantastic eye candy video... Ron Paul is a patriot...
