I think Lee is being ironic here, he asks the question from the point of view of "the establishment". The whole phrase is "Everywhere is freaks and hairies, dykes and fairies, where is sanity?" He was a "hairy" (hippie) himself. He then answers, Ill tell you where is sanity, "Tax the rich and feed the poor, till there are no rich no more.

Would you have asked that question when our Soldiers went to war in WW2? They were killing the Nazis, just like the Nazis killed the Allies (and 6 million Jews)

I believe there is a difference. Hitler enforced his ideals through fear. Yes, Saddam did the same but mostly against the Shiites. The conflict between Sunni and Shiite and even jew and palestinian is mostly a result of religious indifference and not fear. In my opinion.

Wow. A powerful video that left me speechless. The images and song make a powerful statement about the world today.
It's sad to think that although that song was released back in the early '70's, we haven't made much change. Maybe changed for the worst. Sorry if this doesn't make much sense; I'm still replaying the video over in my head. Great job! Please do more! Maybe if enough people see this one, you can change the world!
