Alkaline eating tips and the need for self love. I am 57 years of age here & still recovering, through nutrition, from a very close brush with death last year in late winter, 2006. I was within hours of death from diabetes and toxic black mould infestation. It was a long ordeal as i lay, crippled with rheumatoid arthritis (from the black mould which excretes high acid waste) on the couch for 2 long, excruciating, painful years. I chose to live so i do not eat grains (or flour from these), no root vegetables such as potatoes, garlic, onions, turnips or carrots; no alcohol, sugar, honey or dairy. Also no recreational or medicinal drugs of any kind; no coffee or black teas, nor do i smoke anything at any time. i eat millet, which is alkaline-ash producing and 36% protein though not large amounts, nor every day. No processed foods either, no soda pops or cocoa drinks or meats, eggs or flesh of any kind including seafoods. I lost 79 pounds too. i did not have to quit alcohol, drugs or smoking because i did not partake in this in the first place but chaning the way one eats and thinks is as huge a challenge. The fresh green drinks neutralize body acids so i am no longer crippled. I tried dried green drinks from health stores for 10 days as an experiment without the fresh homemade ones and was crippling up again by day 7. all the full body pain was returning so i know for certain that the green drink must be fresh. Cucumber and watermelon, eaten separately are great alkalizers and quickly assimilated by body to reduce body acids.

  • O Brother, I love tomatoes. What do i do now pound down a box of baking to counteact the acidity?

  • Hi, as long as you do not already have a high body acid & do not have arthritis some tomatoes are just fine especially raw. Generally any cooked fruit or veggie is acidic. Tomatoes are up there with coffee for acidity. Just eat a lot of alkline foods too & there is no problem.

  • What about onions?

  • I tend to refrain from the consumption of root vegetables, which includes onions (green part is fine as it grows above ground) because these draw the enegy from the brain with the consequence of preventing higher brain function.

  • @philotaaveti no drinking while eating if possible for you to do. It weaken's the important enzymes that aids digestion.

  • Thank You so much for posting this video :) It gives amazing information :) Please watch also my videos:)

  • no meat, fish, potatoes, grains, no bread, no flour period. I live an extremely disciplined way due to being ultra sensitive. Was near to death 3.5 years ago, was seeing the lights when i chose to live. Was so toxic i barely made it. Have to eat this way to live so i do it. You do not need to be so extreme. Start educating yourself on proper eating & not the governments food guidelines as they do not have clue just like the doctors don/t . Learn what & how to eat & live without disease.

  • no liquids while eating. Look up food-combining so you understand. Each food requires a different enzyme for digestion. Fruit must only be eaten alone and raw. Wait 20 minutes before eating anything else. Protein, such as meat, fish, eggs, rot in your gut when you add carbohydrates such as breads, pasta...any floury food. The n. american diet creates cancer, heart disease, diabetes 2 & many more degenerative conditions. Most folk concept of good eating is horrendous.
