My Eclipse 4G History

All my friends keep telling me, that I should leave this car. Although most people would disagree at first, after some mods, it has proven to be a great track car. This a short history of my beloved Mitsubishi Eclipse GT 2008 Automatic: Raimunda.

I appreciate your work, but I feel like you should have put all of that into a different car. The Eclipse has a sloppy chassis from the factory. We have an 08 GT in the family, and I would never put that much work into it. It's a nice DD though.

@mrjost55 I have put the effort in other cars too (see my other videos). The Eclipse GT has an incredible chassis. Probably one of the most rigid in its class.  I cant realize how could you come to such conclusion, but certainly is not from track experience. Maybe you are feeling its soft stock suspension or inadequate ride height.

I know. That was the only option at that time. They dont even sell manuals over here. We have to use what we have. You are right: I am not a "real racer/driver".

What is the EGR block for ??? i have the same car ... is that making more power??? nice ride by the way :D

It would supposedly give more power by keeping the intake manifold cleaner and colder. But the results are controversial.

your video has definitely inspired me. i own a 2011 mitsubishi eclipse GT and i'm looking and wondering if i could do alot of what you did to your to mine as well. everyone tells me i should have got something different but i greatly enjoy it. just want to mod it.

Hey I just recently got a 2008 gt Eclipse. It's all stock as of right now. I'm not really into taking it to the track but I do want to put some mods on it. Any suggestions for what I should do first? Thanks

all the haters is because they dont have money to buy this car. i got the gt 2006 and belive me is FUCKING AWESOME. is very fast, good handling and you feel very good driving the car. the mine have k&n intake, rre headers, catalitic converted removed and magnaflow exhaust system and when i put all that in the car belive me he gain a lot of power i think is now with 310hp or 315hp all that with that simples mods. and the people who dont know, yes there are turbo and supercharger for this car.
