Christine and the Phantom in Sarah Brightman's "Stranger in Paradise".

A warm, happy video featuring Christine and the Phantom! :) There are so many dark, angsty videos of Phantom of the Opera, I always wanted to make a lighthearted one to this lovely song because it seemed to fit in a way! Especially if you're a Gerard Butler fan, LOL!

This was my first video after I learned how to feather footage (Thank you HeathDances!!), so I experimented using that technique in this.

Song: "Stranger in Paradise" *
Sung By: Sarah Brightman
Album: "Harem"
Originally from: "Kismet" (1953 musical)
Footage: Phantom of the Opera (2004)

  • This is a nice match of a beautiful song called "Stranger in Paradise" from the 1953 musical "Kismet" sang by "Sarah Brightman" and scenes from the 2004 movie "Phantom of the Opera."

You have done a professional job of editing and syncronization. However, I wish you actually would mentioned the origins as well. Most people could get confused and think that the song is originally from the soundtrack Phantom of the Opera ;~)

  • @denizozil :

    Thank you for the comment!

That's odd I forgot to include the song information in info box, usually I do. I edited it so now people know what it's from. :)

  • Jaguar Jedi, you accomplished your goal! I'm subscribing to your channel. Your videos are great!

  • Thank you very much!! I will be doing more Phantom videos too :)

fall in love with angels theres danger in paradise

  • @denizozil The origin of this music is opera “Prince Igor” by Alexander Borodin. The opera was composed between 1969-1887.

  • This is so fucking romantic :-)

  • @denizozil

Dear Denizozil, the song is from the opera "Prince Igor" by Alexandre Borodin, almost a century earlier than it was used in "Kismet". Know your musical history! :)
