@syndrome666 I have a calendar entry every two weeks to look out for the 3GS 6.15 downgrade. The only way working to date (Jan 25, 2012) is to physically remove the baseband chip, which is way too hard (watch?v=sceLDuJVuWY) and not worth the risk. Too bad the unlocking guyz have all let us all down so badly on this one - almost 1.7 years and counting.

@nbk996 so dude if your on bootloader 5.8, (only 5 percent of iphone 3g are on this) your lucky cause there is a way to do this. its called cyder 2, it allows you to download cydia apps without wifi, ill send you the link as a message.
