FL Studio 10 - How To Create Pitch & Volume Automation - The Pause Effect 720p HQ

i have been asked by alot of people about how i make my beats 'pause' and 'wind down' so i made a quick tutorial to show people the basics of automation pitch, filter, volume etc.
you may need to pause the video at parts if you need to read before i do the example.

yo is it possible to do that pitch automation effect for individual tracks like you can with volume by using the mixer? or does it only work for the master pitch?

@DJSheard0 as far as i know, you can only automate the main pitch, you can change the pitch of sounds in the patterns when you right click next to the velocity of the notes and mess with the pitch there, but theres vsts, like gross beat, dblue glitch and harmour i just got which you can use to mess around with pitch and shit with

Question for you? I'm startin to make beats so, Do you recommend to make all the automation once the beat is fully completed? I'm kind of confuse on when to add the automation while in the making of the beat or once its completed? Thank you bro!! :)

@CanecaProductions thats entirely down to you bro, if your making a pattern of strings for example and u want them to automate through the filter, then you do it straight away, but i guess its all down to how you think your beat sounds, theres no right way or wrong way man

Hey, in hardstyle tracks there is often a swell before the melody comes in, how to do that swell? Automation Clips of filter or Volume or with something else... do you know?
