"On My Own" performed by Steve Wallis - dedicated to Priya Reddy (warcry)

I, Steve Wallis, sang this song at the Put People First demonstration (opposing/influencing the G20) in London on March 28, 2009. It is dedicated to warcry, an Indian anarchist living in New York, who I met at an Earth First Gathering in England. This version corrects a serious error in an early version, in which I thought she was a political prisoner in a psychiatric institution that she had compared to Auschwitz concentration camp.

I did a version of the song with my Glasgow band Red Day, but I reckon I can sing it better nowadays. Listen and decide for yourself! I suppose I should have remembered the words!
