???- So aren't you going to introduce me to your friends? *motions to jonas brothers*

Nick's POV

Claire- Oh! Right! Of course! Nick, Kevin, Joe, this is my boyfriend, Hunter. Hunter, jonas brothers. You probably know them. *laughs*
Hunter- Nice to meet ya!
Claire- Wanna sit with us? Is that ok with everyone?
Sarah- Yeah
Joe- Yuhuh
Kevin- of Course!
Rachel- definitely!
Claire- Is it ok with you nick?
I looked up, I realized everyone was staring at me. I didn't like this Hunter guy. I liked Claire, even if we barely know each other. But Hunter is a good looking guy, and Claire would probably choose him over me. *sigh*
Claire- Nick? Is it ok?
Nick- Of course, that would be swell
Joe- Who says swell anymore?
Everyone laughs but me.....I kick Joe and give him a look and he immediately backs off. Hunter slides in next to Claire, so now she's next to me and him. This is gonna be fun.
Hunter- So, Nick
Nick- Yeah?
Hunter- Do you like Claire?
Nick- Well, she is really nice and stuff, and a great friend. So yeah, I do
Hunter- Well she always talks about you. Sometimes it seems like she likes you more than me, her boyfriend!
Claire- *blushes* Hunter!
Hunter- I'm sorry babe *kisses claire on the cheek*
Claire- Your forgiven
I just sit there watching them talk and laugh and smile. Claire seems so happy with him, but I know if I had her she would be much happier. And I would be too. I eat in silence while everyone talks and laughs.
Joe- I'm done!
Sarah- No! I was done 1st!
Joe- No way!
Kevin- Its a tie!
S and J- No way!
Joe- 5ths!
Sarah- Yeah! Great idea j-
Rachel- NO 5th servings you two!
Sarah- Fine....
Joe- What?
Sarah smiles at Joe and he knows what shes thinking They both say it at the same time
J and S- DESERT!!!
Claire- Ugh....
Nick- Do you want desert claire?
Claire- No thanks...
Hunter- Are you sure? It'll be on me!
Joe- why would you put desert on yourself?
Kevin- Its an expression Joe
Joe- ooooohhhhh
Claire- Hmmm...now that I thought about it..maybe. I gotta see the desert menu 1st.
Hunter- Waiter! 1 desert menu please!
Sarah- No, 2!
Joe- 3!
Hunter- lets settle with 4. 4 desert menus please.
Waiter- Yes sir. Right Away
The waiter hurries into the kitchen and comes out with 4 desert menus. Kevin and Rachel share 1, joe and sarah share 1, hunter and claire share 1, and that leaves 1 desert menu, and 1 person left. Me. I grab the desert menu and look at what I want. Everyone orders, eats there desert and we pay the bill.
Kevin- I'll pay *puts money with the receipt.*
Hunter- Fine. But I'll leave a tip *puts $30 on top of Kevin's money.*
Claire- We were gonna go watch a movie at my house. Wanna come hunter?
I cross my fingers hoping he'll say no. And boy was I in luck.
Hunter- Eh, sorry. Can't. Gotta go to um....my football practice. I'll catch ya later though, ok? Say hi to your mom for me!
And he was gone in a second. We all got into the car, and went to Claire's house.
Joe- What movie do you wanna watch?
Sarah- Nightmare on Elm Street!
Claire- Ugh......
Kevin- you ok Claire?
Sarah- *whispers* she hates scary movies
Joe- Oh, its fine. We don't hafta watch it if you don't want to.
Claire- No way! I love watching scary movies! Lets watch!
Joe- Ok....
Rachel puts the DVD. Joe and sarah are on the ground. Rachel and Kevin are on the right side of the couch. And Claire and I on the left.

Claire's POV

OMG I really really don't wanna watch this! Before I knew it I had my face buried in nicks chest. He rapped his strong arms around me and he whispered in my ear, "Don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you" I smiled. I felt safe with him. I listened to his steady heart beat and eventually fell asleep. When I woke up, I was lying in bed. Rachel was sitting next to me.
Rachel- Good Morning sleepy head!
Claire- *yawn* what are you doing here? Wheres nick?
Rachel- you fell asleep on Nick last night and when the movie was over he carried you up here. But they're all gone now. They left last night to go to New York for a concert. Then they will go to their home for a little while and who knows where they'll go next.
My mom suddenly comes in.
Claire's Mom- Claire! Some friend of yours is sobbing downstairs and...who is this??? I want them both out RIGHT NOW!
Claire- *crying* MOM! Stop being so rude! My really good friend just left, probably forever and how do you think I feel??? HUH???
Claire's mom- Thats it, if your friends aren't gone in 2 minutes your grounded! I'm going to the bar downtown.
My mom walks out of the room and leaves the house.
Rachel- Whoa, I've never met your mom before.
