R.I.P Gary Speed [Newcastle United Tribute]

On November 27th, Gary Speed Was Found Dead At His Home Aged 42, Thought To Have Taken His Own Life. He Left Behind A Wife, 2 Sons And A Footballing Legacy. Speed Played For Leeds, Everton, Newcastle United, Bolton Wanderers And Sheffield United. In Total He Made 840 Club Appearances And Scored 134 Goals. Speed Also Played For And Captained The Wales National Team Of Which He Made 85 Appearances And Scored 7 Goals. After His Playing Career Ended In 2010, He Went On To Manage Sheffield United Before Being Quickly Promoted To Manager Of The Wales National Team.

great piece, a great person, will be missed, Leeds fans were brilliant when they sang Speedo's name for 11 minutes on the 11th minute of the game V Forest, Geordie fans made a pitiful try to do the same after 11 mins V Chelsea but all they managed to do was wave their scarves (about 100) above their heads for about a minute!!
