this is astounding what is and has happened at cern so far...we are educating ourselves beyond our weildest dreams i pray and i do pray that understanding what we find is our biggest challenge.divinity must be part of the make-up of the brightest minds on the planet,I pray that that God particle and the devine intelligence that followes helps the human state.

@Silversong88 you don't get how this thing works yet huh. There its always going to be more things that don't make sence . You don't have to dig any deeper to understand that. Cern is not the first device to find the higgs boson. It was understood thousands of years ago. And we as a civilization have been being manipulated, by those that knew.

That is an irrelevant point. Both Myself and other scientists know there are things that DO NOT make sense yet. That is what motivates us to dig and find out and keep an open mind. And yes you do have to give a better example to justify your reasoning than just making the argument from ignorance: (there are things we don't understand so my reason is valid..). That could justify just about anything..

I knew Arthur C. Clark in person. My father has family near him back in Sri Lanka.

lots of things in this universe you will find DO NOT make sence. You have to come to that understanding first in order to understand it. I don't have to give another example. there was nothing wrong with the one that i gave. The man that you are refering to is Sir Auther C. Clark. I considered him as my friend.

well that makes no sense. could you please give a better example? a space-station or satellite orbiting the planet is a perfect example of calculated physics being used in conjunction with creative imagination. In-fact do you know the first geostationary satellite was conceived by a scifi-fiction writer? I think what you are stressing is the imaginative capacity of humans..my guess
