@sloppymantis I agree with what you're saying but my point is that most of the MMA trash talking comes from couch warriors who have no training in the martial arts. They buy second hand Gracie instructional videos because they are too scared to go to a real school and get their asses handed to them.

@TakgeyonBlackbelt I'm white, but I totally agree. I'm a solid kung fu martial artist and have studied for years, as well as ninjutsu. Oh and UFC+ sucks balls big time.

Self defense and basic understanding of the human machine is different from competition of a sport nature. they have rules for example.. that makes it a game.. they focus perhaps more on scoring points.. status.. image.. even violent images with blood etc.. but still.. rules.. .. soft floor.. etc.. a ring boxing punch with no glove will b reak a hand.. .. and take downs on asphalt will hurt self
