i know that ....i was just saying that i though that it was funny because he says i like the way you smell when you call me on your cell....when clearly you can not smell anyone when you talk to them on your cell.

he's trying to write a song to express his feelings for sally - she told him he doesn't show his emotions well, so she signed him up for the talent contest.
personally, i think it works WAY better when you pretend he's talking about casey. x)
