Dual rotor JET propeller/impeller free stream turbine

A dual rotor two stage turbine fastened to a common shaft. First rotor is smaller. It directed incoming flow radial to the second bigger rotor with JET blades. Jet blades are T-shaped blade operating bi-directionally. Inclined rotor axis keeps power drive train over water. Dual rotor JET propeller / impeller hydrokinetic turbine is for low and zero water head applications. River, channel, free stream and tidal. For ultra low head applications JET propeller turbine is better solution in comparison with Kaplan and Mitchel-Banki turbines.

Jet blades accelerated and directed jet flow behind their tips. It creates an additional rotational jet torque. Thanks to the additional jet torque turbine power is increased up to 2 times. See more at www.tonchev.org
