North Carolina Children and Nature Coalition

In today's connected world, children have more opportunities than ever to learn from, and communicate with, people all over the world. But this comes at a price—children also spend more time than ever indoors and thus separated from the natural world. The North Carolina Children and Nature Coalition (http://ncchildrenandnature.org) brings together several NC-based organizations working to educate families, teachers and others about the need for children to be more engaged with the outdoors.
