@ibegyoupardon Yes, but 1,65% is a pretty serious grade, too... :-) The bankers aren't working full power though (I guess around 60% each...), probably to avoid derailments in the curves...

They are some seriously bad flats and will be inflicting rail damage. It seems they might need to be taking a good hard look at the brake gear on some of those wagons. That aside, another great visual and sound spectacular.

@Rocketboy1950 True, this kind of flat spots are a disaster for the tracks! :-0 Maybe they simply forgot to switch the brakes to the "empty" position when this set of cars was empty? ;-) This can result in blocking the wheels, certainly on wet rails in autumn...

This looks like in the USA or Canada, Tundra forest

@imnoobshit It's actually not very far from the Russian border... :-) (The "Trans-Manchurian" train from Moskou to Beijing passes over this line too, by the way...)

@dak1lla90 Indeed! :-) A true delight for the fans of heavy diesels... :-) Although a DF8B is much louder in reality, these HXN5's seem to sound better on a video tape, most likely because of the thumping sound of their engines. A DF8B has a heavier, harder sound (Making you stomach and sometimes even your chest (!) vibrate when they pass by!), but as you can't record those vibrations on tape you don't get the same effect while watching the video... But in reality, a DF8B is still the best! ;-)
