@wilcoxchar Norway and Denmark were technically in personal union but Norway was annexed as an integral part of the realm by the council of the realm in 1536. Sweden, however, never formally (or de-facto) annexed Norway (it was granted to the King of Sweden, not the Kingdom of Sweden).

@TheGreentomato123 I know that Norway was in a personal union with Sweden. The usual convention on every map I've seen during the 19th century shows Sweden and Norway as a unified country, just like every map shows Denmark and Norway completely unified while they were in a personal union.
