  • That the camera operator is in love with a string bass player is all too evident. But it would have been nice if we could have seen the violin soloist at the start of the Ubermensch dance, or the bell player during the collapse of the Dream.

  • Yes, but the Double Bass does have epic parts. I am, of course, referring to the beginning low C at 32 hertz and the low parts of "Of the Sciences", the climax of which is a low B of the subcontra octave at 29 hertz!

  • wonderful score by that extraordinary german composer Richard Strauss, based on the literary homymous work "thus spoke zaratuatra",extraordinary colossal and a remarkable interpretation by the orchestra
