This was too much fun to watch! I love "vintage" cheerleading. This makes me happy to see it!
I'd love to put my daughter into cheerleading when she's old enough but I'm so afraid that she'd get injured like a cousin of mine did, its like all the pure fun has been taken out of it. Everything is all about gymnastics and hardcore competition, it seems like its stopped being about having fun and supporting your school.
If things were like this again, I'd reconsider letting her do it!

It's nice to see some cheerleading that is just a sweet display of spirit! My daughter does All-Star Cheerleading, just turned 5 & almost has her back handspring! I think that maybe 1 girl could tumble on my H.S. squad, boy have things changed!!

Yes I know! If I had to try out of cheerleading today I'd NEVER make it! I went to a competition recently and couldn't believe how the bar has been raised! It's really crazy and seems like a lot of pressure for girls! Guess I'm glad I did it when I did! Thanks for the comment!
