I see this as, people in UK do not eat dogs, cats, horses yet people in FRANCE eat horse meat and in Far east cats and dogs are food. It is a cultural thing. Anyway taking care of cows is better then blowing up people with bombs. The sacred part is due to Lord Krishna's love for PEACEFUL COWS.

i am a hindu, not from india , but i dont do that. i respect the cattle since it was our backbone in terms of milk and muscle power for farming.
i wont eat it meat since my family used to use it farming. but i dont see the need for bathing, or using urine to show adoration....

Cow is a sacred animal in Hinduism. Our Prime Minister Morarji Desai used to drink a glass of cow mother's urine early in the morning like many Hindus do. Many Hindus take bath with cow mother's urine to purify themselves. What a tribute to cow mother.
