That beats the KRBK sign-off where they had a crawl of the entire staff's names. If lots of stations did that they'd have to re-do the signoff everytime somebody got fired, which today would be about every day!

I miss the small local stations! They had so much personality. Sadly, they went the same way as the radio stations. Geez it gets depressing :(

I just looked up some of these names... records show that Lester Gok died in September 1984.

As a child of the 1980's, it's great to see some of the oldies that I used to love, back in the day... Streets of San Francisco (gotta have that), Perry Mason (used to watch that with my grandfather growing up), Star Trek The Next Generation... and even though these aren't exactly oldies, Creepy KOFY Movie Time and Elvira's Movie Macabre show some great sci-fi/horror flicks from the latter half of the 20th century. Just an awesome station. And Dance Party's back too! (too bad it ain't 50's).

Judy Noel looks like she wants to kill someone.

Drew Pfeiffer went to become head of programming at KBHK Channel 44.
This was a very unique, and enjoyable, sign off. Being a Sacramentan, if we could get TV20, it would have to be at night. Who sang the song at the very end? I thought that was a nice touch.

that's a pretty unique sign-off, and I thought it a nice touch that the station employees were such an integral part of it. Was the National Anthem ever played as part of the sign-off?

I don't recall a sign off with the anthem, A favorite sign off on tv stations in the 70's was "High Flight" Google it. It's interesting to note: The arial shots are from Jim Gabbert's plane, The Embaradero freeway (Double Deck) is clearly visable in several of the shots , later in 1989 damaged beyond repair in the Loma Preata Quake and torn down.
