Look, if you like guns, fine. Hey, I think guns are cool as much as the next guy. But don't tell me you need the giant gun from Superman Returns out of "Self Defence". No one needs to shoot 500 bullets in 10 seconds for "Self Defence". And ESPECIALLY, don't tell me old people need an AK47 because their hands shake too much for a knife and they "might miss". That is just utter bullshit.

My entire channel is about making fun of bullshit. Did you think the high Definition Sunglasses video was just a break from my usual stuff? Oh no, it's all part of the same thing. Christianity, Islam, Scientology, Conspiracy Theories, High Def Glasses, "My hand shakes too much to use a knife so I need something that can take out an entire footy stadium in case I miss", it's all the same damn thing.

That's what hollowpoints are for (also used for hunting). They expand inside the target instead of going out the other side like like a full metal jacket would, and possibly going through a wall and hitting somebody. It's also safer for the home invader or whoever because they will be stopped with less rounds than than with FMJ, making their chances to survive greater because there's less holes for them to bleed to death out of.

Machine guns are ridiculous for civilian uses. For me, a bolt or lever action or a semi-automatic (that means it shoots one round for each pull of the trigger) is fine for me.

Crossbows are cool though, though I don't own one.

Ohh okay, but just so you know, a lot of those are actually much smaller than a .50. The SAW is in 5.56x45/.223 which is often used for hunting small game (the .223 round being used in a bolt/lever/semi-auto rifle not a SAW xD ) But it's not powerful enough to take a deer though. The 7.62x51/.308 round the M-60 fires is often used for hunting larger things like deer and target shooting.

Things like SAWs, M-60s,have no sporting or hunting purposes I agree, and certainly not for home defense LOL

You can still own handguns for sporting purposes, it's called an H license. Semi-automatic pistols or revolvers.

Whats fucking stupid IMO is that you can't own semi-automatic rifles or pump-action or semi-automatic shotguns for hunting, target shooting or home defense but you can own a handguns which is a lot more concealable! And using my country as an example. Of the firearms used to kill people, handguns are used like 90% of the time. On the FBI stats, rifles are only used like 3% of murders.

And ".50 cal is not a hunting weapon" the size of a bullet has nothing to do with how powerful it is, the 45 ACP would have a muzzle energy of about 400 while 30-06 which is smaller but has a muzzle energy of 2,200, because it has a heavier bullet and more powder in the case. There's many different rounds that are .50, and there's rounds that are smaller than that but are considerably more powerful than those that are .50 or whatever. Bullet size has nothing to do with how powerful it is.
