@doctorFRAISER If you held the republicans to the same standard then I'd agree but clearly you are not. The first stimulas, and the largest was Bush's last hurrah before leaving office, in addition to the tax cuts and two wars thats the reason we are here today. Obama hasnt done everything he can because he's working with a congress who doesnt want him to succeed. reagan and both bushs expanded the government and Clinton shrank it, obama is trying to as well. It takes more than 2 years ...

@Travisvincent It also should not take more than 2 years to spend more than what the last guy did in 8. Not that obama wasn't trying he just isn't what he promised like cutting the debt in half, removing all troops, shutting down gitmo on his first day, stopping unemployment from crossing 8% by passing the stimulus, and those are the first ones i can think of but there are more and if he wanted to clean a mess he could but his promise to do so is currently unmet.

I wasnt blaming Bush specifically, but the republicans who expanded government during Reagan, Bush and Bush 2, When Clinton left a surplus Bush gave tax breaks to the rich, in addition to the wars and bad policy, that is why we are here now. I dont thank god for CSPAN, I thank our government for CSPAN, if god had anything to do with it, wed have a 3 or 4 party system and ppls votes would actually count.

@Travisvincent unless you were in a coma in 2006, the Democrats took control of Congress in 2006. Barney Frank, now in charge of the Financial Services Committee, denied the GSEs Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac needed to be regulated. and two years later the lending bubble those two agencies created burst. You can believe the tripe that is so often spewed about Bush causing this financial collapse, but the truth is right there if your willing to look. Thank god for CSPAN.
