@Harley459 some people can't cope and need to take it out on themself, if anything it helps de-stress them. and it's not all because of 'parents were mean' there could be stuff going on, they could be getting abused, raped and people they're close to could have died or something that would get them like it.

just because you don't do it you seem to think it's stupid, it is, but you have no idea what it's like to be in that state of mind of needing to let the pain go away, this is how they do it!!

@nandosskankXD one thing you might not know about the subject of people hurting them self which is the ONLY excuseable reason for it is there is a genetic birth defect its very very very rare but it causes the person to harm them self uncontrollably and only males are able to have this birth defect for some reason women are not able at all to have it for w/e reason.now that is a kind of pain i can honestly say YOU have no idea what its like to not want to hurt your self or know why your doing it

@nandosskankXD i get needing to let the pain go but what happens the next day when their getting raped or abused like u said might be happening...then that problem and that pain is STILL there if some ones being raped or abused they need to say something to some one about it not hurt them self and hope some one takes notice and if not just keep doing it until they die thats fucking stupid and selfish and dont try preaching to me about what you think i know or dont know

@nandosskankXD will EVER take away that kinda pain for the people they left behind and it is beyond stupid to hurt your self it doesn't take anything away that problem w/e it is is STILL gonna be there your defense for it is maybe they are being abused or raped if their being raped or abused do you think its gonna go away if their being raped their still gonna get raped all cut up or not emo kids glorify their self inflicted injuries and defend it with stupid reasoning that you just showed

@nandosskankXD first off how can you tell some one what they do or do not know what something is like 2ndly i have lost several friends to suicide when these kids go around cutting them selfs badly or worse they dont see or think about the other side of their actions their friends their family people who they didnt think cared when they decided they were gonna kill or hurt them self they dont get to see how much pain they cause and i can tell you from experiance no amount of cutting or anything

@shadowprincess161 well most emo kids made the stereo type of cutting them self by drawing massive attention to their crys for attention constantly and their shallow selfish reasons for wanting to hurt them self allowing them self and even embracing the term emo is proof of that why perpetuate the stereo type by going along with it? other than its for the attention

@shawn4201111 Yay! I hope you and your gf stay together. And I've only been to the hospital twice and my doc. made me stay in the Centers for a week. Btw the Centers is like a Mental Hospital, its where they refer you when they catch you at school cutting. :/

I literally broke down crying watching this. My best friend almost died from cutting, I cut, I'm trying to stop using the butterfly project, but my adiction is still there. The pain and sight and taste of my blood makes me feel better...even more human..thats why I did it.

Cutters, get help. People who are thinking of it, don't. You'll regret it later when you wake up 10 years later and see the scars, not remembering why you did it in the first place.
