why you need to input your weight,age,sex....?if this analyzer is using current thru entire body.?

@AndriuhaTM The device is calibrated based on averages for weight, sex, and age. The electric current running through the body and the device has variations based on your body fat percentage, but your body fat percentage has variations based on your sex, weight, and age. Make sense?

@AndriuhaTM For example-- women on average have more body fat than men. So the current running through the device must be calibrated to account for this.

It should be accurate as the current would travel through your entire body, from one arm to another!

@Sabockis I have to disagree. The Omron HBF 306 C has been proven clinically accurate. It measures body fat as an accurate percentage and is used by many professionals, everday.
