Raining Geese

This is a classic video from a few years ago.

The event was snow goose field hunt in early September, 2006 near Quill Lakes Saskatchewan. This morning we shot 106 snow geese. Outstanding production for an early season hunt under non-ideal hunting conditions.

On most morning the field hunts are pretty reliable, offering a group of hunters a chance to knock down more than a meal worth of snow geese. The weather on this day was not very promising for goose hunting. The sky was clear, no clouds, and only a hint of wind. This can make it very tough for the birds to commit to a spread of decoys. But, our scouting paid off and the birds came willingly to the decoys and the calls and we had a great hunt.

funny the negative comments........They should be thanking you guys........there are too many snow geese and you guys are regulating them so they don't starve. But you just can't tell these people anything...they think they are smarter than us.
