Hey,

My friend and I got there at 4 I think(Doors opened at 7 IIRC), nobody else was in line, so we walked around back to see if we could find anyone from the band. We saw Jay unloading some equipment from a truck and went up and introduced ourselves, he sortakinda remembered us from the warped tour(I wore a chinese hat to the warped tour, so thats what he remembered when i told him i was the kid with the chinese hat).

We talked for a few mins, and he pointed at the door and said "Go inside and pretend you guys are supposed to be there", so my friend and I found a couple seats towards the back, with a table. After they did soundcheck jay and us talked for a little bit more, jay left, and we saw The Briggs and Folly do their soundchecks.

Jay is a really nice person, always hanging out with fans and stuff, and If you ever talk to him before a show and ask him, I'm sure that he'd let you into soundcheck

haha that's sweet w/ jay singing. he's not warmed up or anything yet so that's why he's off key but whatever. certainly a rare moment to have on tape its awesome you put this up!

Wow...I envy you. Jay seems like a really awesome guy.

Personally I haven't seen the band live yet, to my great despair...they almost never visit Sweden.

I actually did get to meet him at the '99 lunitic luao festival in virginia. They had an autograph tent 2hrs prior to the show and i got my shirt sighned by him and brian and former drummer bobby. I wanted to get greg's signature but we were kinda being rushed by overzealous security. (a minor complaint but in their defense, the line was getting pretty backed up. Plus there were other bands I wanted to meet.)
