TODAY, I had to reschedule tomorrow's appointment for the ultrasound of the growth on my thyroid because the CT Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities and Mr. Jeffrey Sussman of HUD stated I needed to schedule my medical appointments according to the weather. Mr. Sussman and the State of CT made it clear that I risk losing my rental assistance if I continue to receive early detection testing of any kind.
