I suppose we can all remember being unwell in childhood, weak and recovering from fever, left alone with our imagination within the limits of our confined world: a time when nothing we could think of will amuse us any more and we need something external to happen, to stimulate our sense of wonder, to take us by surprise.
"The Sick Child" was painted by Dali, but I combined it with another Dali to extend the child's imagination. I hope Dali's ghost will forgive this outrage.
I think that both Jerrell and Dali would be pleased.
