  • is the banjo an easy to play instrument , i mean , for a good guitarist ?

  • Yea. If you can play the guitar, then the banjo is pretty simple. I play the guitar, banjo and mandolin..

  • what model banjo are you using? is it the MB200 by chance? I'm looking into upgrading from my fender FB300 to something sturdier.

  • Yep that is exactly what it is.. Epiphone MB-200 Banjo (Red Mahogany Brown)Overall: 8.10

    Bought from Musiciansfriend

  • it sounds pretty good considering it doesnt cost much at all, thanks.

  • Well close to $200 isn't bad for a decent banjo.

  • thanks :)

  • ya know ive played both and i actually like teh mb200 more sounds the same tunes the same and feels the same the mb250 is just alot heavier and i think has some more inlays and designs

  • i play the mb200 and its a pretty decent banjo the only complaint i have is that there was some buzz in the nut but samash fixed it for me (had the warrenty) also epiphone will gaurentee it for life so thats a plus too

  • I just got one of these Epiphone Banjos. I really wanted an MB-250, but this one you're playing sounds great, so why spend the extra money?
