@1FranklynRecords1 He probably thought that because Peter Gabriel pulled a pretty big hit single on this one. I don't think Rev. Green ever released this one as a single. (Unless I missed it.) It was just released as a track on his '74 album "Al Green Explores Your Mind".

Come to think of it, if someone was going to make a mistake I would think it would be in thinking David Byrne (Talking Heads) rather than Peter Gabriel did it. The Talking Heads version was huge and about 8 or 9 years after Al Green wrote the song. Anyway..I'm such a music geek.
