Let me dumb this down as much as I can...
Genesis loved Lightning since they where kids, he asked her if she loved him but she said no. There was something (someone) Keeping her away. Angry, Genesis asked for revenge on the "Something", but instead Lightning got turned into crystal. 10 years later, Genesis still visits the crystal Lightning every day. One day she finally woke up. They where happy to see each other again. Then Zack came into the picture. As it turns out, Zack is what kept Lightning away from Genesis when they where young. Zack said that Genesis was undeserving of her because he kept something from her. Genesis had gone to the devil begging for Lightning to be saved. So, what else would he do but sell his soul? He fights Zack, but loses. Now he is at the gate of judgement (Deciding weather he should be sent to heaven or hell). He sees Lightning there and once again, his anger overwhelmed him when Lightning showed she wanted to test him. She beat him at the last minute, sending him to hell.
Point? If you do horrible things to get what you want, the thing you want will destroy you.

@JessieH498 haha not too much. I've been trying to make videos again but it's hard, ya know? Then I was playing some Crises Core at my friends house while they were playing 13... (POOF) An idea is born! xD like they are kinda...a...cute...couple?
