Oh yeah, he owes tons of money in back child support and was actually arrested and put in jail for this several months ago.

He is disliked by the critics in Vegas and has NO respect from his peers in the industry. This is not because he is a wonderful guy and/or talent. He is an embarrassment to the Presley legacy.

For those defending Mr. Carlini (and there aren't that many these days)... his band walked out on him on Christmas Eve because he owes them 3-4 weeks of back pay and promised to pay them - which he still has not. His is now doing track shows in the Hilton LOUNGE and his show is not not drawing well. So much for being a wonderful guy and/or entertainer.

I personally believe he's had it now, I mean once his Hilton contract ended in 2004 that was it! Such a shame as the man could put on a great show but just chooses not to.

Impersonators work in a very small and thankless environment for the most part. Very few will ever make a living chasing contest to contest and VFW show to VFW show. Whoever they are, give them the credit they deserve for at least entering the race. Most people,  will always sit on the sidelines acting as judge and jury.

No doubt Trent is a fantastic impersonator. Ego's will make us look really stupid if they get the best of us. I doubt he is a "Legend" among impersonators, being that there is only one legend, Elvis himself. Neither Trent, nor Shawn nor Doug etc., will ever know what it's like to get mugged signing autographs walking into a Walmart. They will never know what it's like to be themselves while they perform or to hear themselves on the mainstream radio programs singing, "their own songs".

I just saw him this week in Vegas, and guess what??? He was Very good. He needs a bigger stage, but he does a good show, and also, had a band!!!, sounds like somebody on this post is very jealous I also talked to him after the show, and he was very nice, not like he is being described above.
