Casa Margherita is a small and graceful apartment of 52 square meters. It is a modern apartment and it has been recently renewed. The apartment is located in Sorrento centre, in the quiet neighbourhood of Santa Lucia. This area is a few hundred meters from the main square of Sorrento, Piazza Tasso. Near Casa Margherita there are many shops: supermarket, confectioner's, fruit and vegetable market, restaurants etc., but at the same time this is in a very quiet area. If You arrive by car, there are many payment car parkings not far from the apartment. The railway station is about 500 meters away, and by train You can easily reach Pompeii, Naples etc. The nearest beach is Marina Grande, , which is 700 meters away: You can go there on foot if You feel like, but If You decide to go by car, there is a car parking there. That beach is a typical fishermen's village and there are a lot of bathing establishments where umbrellas, deckchairs and a bar are available and where kids can safely swim. A curiosity: if You rent the Margherita Apartment, consider also that each week on Tuesday (400 meters far from the apartment), a street market is arranged. Besides, on Monday every week in Sant'Agnello e Piano di Sorrento (about 2 Km away from the apartment) You can go to the local street market where You can find anything for very good prices. We suggest You also to visit the small but absolutely breath-taking public garden Villa Comunale of Sorrento (free entrance) from where You can admire the beautiful gulf of Naples with its symbol Vesuvius. Two-roomed apartment - sleeps 4 located in Sorrento center on the third floor (with lift) of a modern building. This apartment is furnished with taste, and it is equipped with modern pieces of furniture.
To reach the Casa Margherita, You have to reach the Santa Lucia neighbourhood from the name of the saint of the light who the main church of the quarter it is dedicated to .Casa Margherita is far from the main road: it is the reason why this apartment is particularly quiet, also being in the center of the Sorrento.
The apartment is on the third floor with lift. The main door leads to a corridor. In front of it there is the double-room, on the left You can find the bathroom with shower and the living-room with cooking corner. There si also a terrace where You can eat in the open air.
The double room is equipped with a big wardrobe. To the right and to the left of the bed two bedside tables are placed (with lamps) and two little armchairs. This room connects to the terrace.
The other main room is the living-room with a nice sofa bed and a table with chairs. On the other side of the same room there is an equipped cooking-corner. Also the the living-room connects to the terrace.
The bathroom, equipped with shower, has been recently renewed.
The proximity to railway station and bus stop (about 500 meters away from the apartment) helps You reach Naples, Pompeii and the other nearby tourist attractions of the area.
