There's no such thing as a Christian soldier. Jesus was a pacifist who taught that all men are brothers and should love each other. If you have a spirit of violence within you, if you hate anyone, or desire to kill anyone, you have not the spirit of Christ within you. When you feel love, empathy, sympathy, compassion and understanding, that is Christ working in you, by whatever name you choose to call it. If you have love for your enemies, you are a Christian.  If not, you are not. Period.

If you really do unbiased research, Islam that has been doing the attacking and invading.The first crusade for example: Islam had been invading and pushing forward for centuries, up to Spain, killing all non-Muslims. The crusade was a retaliation against Islam killing Christians profusely in the Holy Land, and up to Europe. The Patriarch of Constantinople called for the Popes help against the Turks invading and slaughtering.
