Very nice. Having had a lot of experience with your Sensei and his, it looks like you've grasped the spirit they want to share. The McGill dojo looks much better than it once did.

Congrats! Nice 5th kyu exam (I passed mine with the same sensei yeeeeeeaaaars ago... but didn't do as good). Happy to see that the McGill dojo is going well.

Nice work on the exam. That exam seemed to consist of a lot of techniques higher than 5th kyu (at least at my USAF dojo).. for instance, ushiro tekubitori sankyo as well as the suwari waza are 4th kyu requirements at my school.
Was this a 5th kyu student testing for 4th kyu or does my school's curriculum just differ from yours?

No, it was 5th kyu exam, Daniel Sensei likes to ask a little bit more than what's required.
