You're still in the curly club....LOL

1.Because you know how and are open to dealing with your hair in

it's curly state...And that takes courage. Many are still afraid of their natural hair.

Besides,you wore it natural for years and just did something temporary to make it more manageable....MOST IMPORTANTLY YOUR HAIR'S STILL HEALTHY!!!

It looks great!!....I'll be watching to see what happens.If your curls come back,

My daughter has a very similar texture to yours; more so than mine is to yours. She wears her hair flat-ironed - never in it's textured state. She's had the treatment for 1 yr. Her hair is more manageable, has more body & healthier looking. Minimal shedding/no split ends & it grows like grass...grass in 80 degree temps w/more rain than not, mind you. I live in Texas with 100 PLUS temps & NO RAIN for 40 days:) She's my low-maintenance 'corporate world' daughter so it works quite well for her!

I didn't notice your lashes until you mentioned them so I think you're doing pretty good with your application technique.

@Theresa9555 I agree in regards to the TIME! But when I count the number of hours spent weekly which equates to approximately 6 hours, it's worth it. How did your daughter's hair change over time with the treatment? Yes, I could not do it by myself. So I discussed the treatment with my husband and he committed to helping me. yes, we planned when to apply the treatment. He was a big help! Yes, men should help us in anyway that is needed and vice versa :).

The amount of time it took to apply the treatment to my daughter's hair was a drawback and the smell was a bit much, as well. However, the outcome was FABULOUS; and, I only apply it every 3 months, so, it's a sacrifice-but worth hit. Especially, if you have a husband who's willing to help you; which can be a form of foreplay;)..fun, fun, fun. This sort of thing is what keeps you connected and growing as a couple. My future husband will have to have 'willing to do my hair' on his resume!:)

what should worry you if the formaldihyde that some of these keratin treatments contain. if your keratin treatment is formaldahyde free the fumes won't be as harmful. your hair looks great april
