FOX News Smears Democracy

Fear mongering is being spread by FOX News, more conservative voices speak out against Democracy in Egypt and Hosni Mubarak said in an interview with Christiane Amanpour that he's fed up with being president and would step down immediately. In a republic the sovereignty is in each individual person. In a democracy the sovereignty is in the group. Remarkable logic you display there my friend...You separate the word republic from democracy, like they were totally unrelated...apples and oranges as it were...They are anything but! Our "republic" would not still exist if it weren't for the willingness to protect democracy in ALL it's guises...It drives everything our government does in our name...The constitution guarantees it...Our military enforces it...
