Taylor Swift's Amazing Year: The Biggest Star of 2009?

Taylor Swift continues to win every award and everything this year. Is she the biggest artist of 2009?

Taylor Swift is getting soooo used to award after award, and the American Music Awards was certainly no exception. For this latest show event, Taylor took home the big win for the night - Artist of the Year... along with 4 other top favorite votes. Plus, if we look back at the year's other big awards shows, including not only music-related contests like the VMAs, Grammys and CMAs, but even taking on a more well-rounded show like the Teen Choice Awards, she's straight-up dominating the awards. In fact, it seems Swift has become the first young adult to win all of those awards PLUS an Academy of Country Music Award and a Nashville Music Award. Wow. Just repeating those double-digit victories still seems like a brand new win for TS.

When one of her wins got questioned - most notably by Kanye West during his on-stage denouncement for the VMAs - it arguably actually helped Taylor gain more audience support... even from people who wouldn't classify themselves as a Swift fan. That along with her sweet southern belle charm and calm demeanor have led outsiders to be able to explain her crazy winning spree. Of course, the music must be there, but most people think that an artist with a bad attitude and egotistical manner would at least NOT win in the shows as voted by viewers.

So now I want to hear from you. Do you think Taylor's 2009 wins can be attributed to her attitude and personal likeability? And where does the music fit into this equation? We want to know if Taylor Swift is the biggest artist of 2009?

She got great music on top of being a sweet person. I mean really she's nice to people and treats people so well. :)

taylor is EASILY the biggest artist of '09. she won basically every major award this year and her album was flying off shelves like crazy.

and yes of course her attitude and personality influence her wins. Without it, I doubt she even would be this big. its what makes her different than all the other artists out there.

Her music is amazing, her lyrics are inspiring, and she's just a simple, lovable young woman. That's all a recipe for BIGGEST ARTIST OF 2009
